Can You Carpet Clean in the Cooler Months?

Although it’s ideal to pick a fine or warm day to get your carpet cleaning done, it doesn’t mean you can’t clean over the cooler months. It just means that it may take a little longer for your carpet to dry although using heating will help speed up the drying time.

Moving house occurs all year round and we all know spills on the carpet can happen at any time, therefore the need to clean our carpets is not just seasonal.  When the weather is colder outside it is best to use a:

• Dehumidifier
• Fan heater
• Fire place

Make sure your home is still kept ventilated and not completely closed up when drying.

Tip: If replacing furniture before carpet is completely dry, to prevent staining use plastic or aluminium foil under furniture legs.
