Change of Seasons - Spring Cleaning Time

It’s that time of year again, Spring Time! Which means its spring cleaning time! This year why not make areas that are usually forgotten about, a priority on your spring cleaning To-Do list?

Outdoor Light Fittings

These often get overlooked, but they are a magnet for cobwebs, bugs and dust.  Not to mention the odd blown light bulb that hasn’t been changed.  You’ll be amazed how much better they look once you’re done, and they will also shine brighter now!

Exterior Windows

With the rain fall and gusty winds we have had this winter your window are bound to need a bit of TLC.

If you have more than one story, you may need to invest in a extendable window cleaning brush, or ask a friend if you could borrow theirs.

Heat Pump Filters

This is something that should be done more than once a year, so if it hasn’t made it onto your cleaning list before now, then definitely make it a priority as an un-cleaned filter can be a fire hazard!

Kitchen Draws & Cupboards

This is a task that often gets put on the back burner, but if you go have a look inside your kitchen draws and cupboards and see for yourself the dirt that gathers in those areas, you’ll be surprised!

Cleaning Your Carpet & Upholstery

After the wet winter months, your carpet will be in need of a thorough clean. Not only does lots of dirt get trampled inside but our homes are often left closed up over winter leaving them smelling stuffy. Hire a Rug Doctor to clean your carpets and upholstery to freshen them up.

Be sure to put some music on whilst cleaning to make the tasks more enjoyable.  And don’t forget to reward yourself once you’ve finished!

Happy Cleaning!
