How to Remove a Coffee Stain?

There are two types of stains, acidic based and oil based. Coffee is an acidic based stain, so the correct product to use is the Rug Doctor Stain Remover.

Follow the steps below:

1. Remove excess liquid by gently blotting with a clean, white absorbent cloth or paper towels.

2. Using the Rug Doctor Stain Remover lightly spray a small amount onto the affected area without saturating.

3. Gently agitate with a clean cloth working from the edges towards centre of the stain.

4. Rinse and Repeat to remove product residue, followed by dabbing with a clean dry cloth or paper towels.

5. Repeat if necessary.

6. Always follow product instructions.

7. For stubborn stains use the Rug Doctor machine along with the hand tool attachment.

Note: Anything containing food colouring can cause permanent discolouration.
